Karen Grant

I attended my first Pilates class in Glasgow in 2001 while I was a dance teacher and quickly became hooked on my weekly class. I soon decided to become a Pilates teacher and completed my comprehensive training with the Pilates Foundation in 2003. 

I originally trained as a dancer at the Laban Centre in London and have over 30 years’ experience of teaching movement. Over the years my teaching style has been influenced by the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais and Yoga.

I love the Pilates method, I believe it is one of the most effective exercise regimes in bringing balance to the mind and body. My fascination with how we move and how we can keep moving our bodies freely and with ease, keeps me learning, and also hooked on my weekly class!
